8 Pregnancy Favorites From a Second Time Mama

I have officially made it to my third trimester in my second pregnancy so I felt it was the perfect time to put together a list of my pregnancy favorites as a second time mama. Some of these items I have used with both of my pregnancies, and some are recent finds this time around.

Today I have my top 8 favorite products broken up into 4 categories.

Prenatal

Vitamins are a very personal choice for all kinds of reasons but I have listed my two favorites based off of my research and knowledge.

Garden of Life

These are based off of real food ingredients which make it a lot cleaner than artificially getting the vitamins and the price point is great compared to a lot of prenatal. I will say though, if you have any nausea in your pregnancy these may not work for you. The taste is quite awful, I did personally use these in both of my pregnancies though.

Best Nest

This is my current prenatal and I truly love it so so much. They offer a subscription so it ships right to your door every month and you never have to worry about running out. After TONS of research they have some of the best and easiest to absorb ingredients and the taste is no where near as bad.

Stretch Mark Prevention

Stretch marks are obviously not “preventable” as they are typically hereditary but you will find an overwhelming amount of products on the market that claim to do it all. I have listed my two favorite products I have tried that seem to work best in my eyes.

Pipette Belly Butter

This is a newer find for me but I absolutely love it. It is the perfect thickness, has a natural smell with an oily base. It has overall been a great product this time around and I am yet to get a stretch mark. Pipette is a brand favorite of mine for the clean, simple ingredients as well.

Bio Oil

Bio Oil has been a favorite in the pregnancy community for years so I decided to try it out this time. It is a thicker oil so it stays on the skin a little longer but I love the feel and it as well seems to be working wonderfully for me.

Hydration

Hydration is the best thing you can do for yourself, your baby and your pregnancy overall. Here is my two favorite ways to stay hydrated all day long.

Stanley Cup

I think we have all seen the hype around Stanley, and it’s definitely with good reason. I have the 30 and the 40 oz cups and I will say I like the 40 better with the handle. The fact that this cup will fit in your car cup holder is reason enough to get it in my opinion but it also keeps your drinks cold all day long which in turn will make you drink more. My toddler became so obsessed with mine he now has his own 20 oz one too. These cups are ALWAYS sold out but I will link whatever ones I can find still in stock below.

Body Armor

Body armor does have a bit of controversy around it due to the natural flavors but if that isn’t something you avoid, it is a great source of hydration. I typically go with the “lyte” version to avoid all the added sugar. They have tons of delicious flavors but if you do want to avoid the added flavoring, going with a regular bottle of coconut water will be beneficial as well. Not only is this a great way to boost hydration, it will help your milk supply as well for when your nursing journey begins.

Clothing

Kindred Bravely

Definitely one of my top pregnancy favorites, Kindred Bravely is extremely high quality and more comfortable than any other maternity clothes I have tried. They have a huge variety to support all mamas from pregnancy, nursing, and pumping. Most pieces transition to even after your breastfeeding journey is done too! you can use code GABBY15 for 15% OFF your entire order as well so thats an added win since these are pricer pieces.

Old Navy

Old Navy is a recent find for me as well but their maternity section is SO cute! They offer a ton of maternity clothes that also transition into nursing friendly clothes which is a huge win for our wallets. I’ll list some of my favorites that I recently purchased below. So far everything has held up well and they always have great deals going on.

Target

Target is a must for most women I believe, I get a lot of my staple pregnancy favorites there. They have a ton of basics from nursing bras that you can wear in pregnancy, jeans, leggings, cheap basic t shirts and tank tops. The lace nursing bra listed below comes in two colors and it was the first nursing bra I found to really fit me well, 10/10 recommend.
