Best Montessori Based Play Kit Lovevery 9-10 Month The Explorer

So today I will give you my last break down of the Lovevery Play Kit at least for a while but let me explain why.

First things first a break down of what we are going over for anyone new here.

Lovevery is a Montessori based play kit service for newborns through 4 years old starting at $80 every two months for the first year and $120 every three months after that. You find only natural materials in these kits making them extremely safe for the little ones to explore.

As always I have a break down of each toy and at the end of the article you can find an amazon dupes list of all the toys.

Whats in the box?

So we already know each kit comes with a guide filled with tons of Montessori based activities how to use the toys and milestones to work on for the age group.

  • ‘How I Feel’ Board Book: We love Lovevery books, this one I use to really show each emotion. My son will laugh at me the whole time but I believe soon this will be able to act them out with me too.
  • Bright & Light Play Scarf: This is great for Peak-a-Boo, and teaching object permanence. We use this to cover up objects and I have him pull it off.
  • First Blocks: I don’t know how useful this really were, only having three really doesn’t do much. We use them with our other blocks but we could have went with out these.
  • Little Grip Canister Set: We are using these currently to teach how to open and close containers in different ways. I fill each one with a small toy such as a block, a ball or a small animal. He has mastered two out of three of them. These also have holes in bottom so we will use them for sensory activities soon as well.
  • Clear Tube With Stacking Rings: We LOVE this toy. It can be used in so many ways which is perfect for babies learning to experiment with play. This is the toy that taught my son to stack things because it made it so easy.
  • Montessori Egg Cup: This is a Montessori classic, I thought my son would have no interest honestly but he really loves this, he will pick his egg up and put it back over and over. Teaches the child to have concentration and learn to grasp things.
  • Stainless Steel Jingle Keys: I don’t like these. I like the idea, but my son chews on these and the sharpness concerns me for chewing. I will give him these later on but for now I have these put up.
  • Stainless Steal Tip and Turn: We just began to introduce this one, he doesn’t quite understand it yet but it will definitely grow with him. The ball that came with this one makes noise as it moves so it will keep the child interested.

Is the 9-10 Month Play Kit Worth it?

I love a lot of the things we received in this box but some of the items are repetitive, and some I could have went without. I will say, buying the toys this way versus buying all the Amazon toys below is cheaper. Its definitely a personal opinion, I am glad I got this box but with that being said we did cancel after this month.

Why We are Canceling?

We decided to cancel simply because it is almost his birthday and I know he will receive a lot of gifts. I may begin the subscription again later on after seeing what he gets but for now we are done.
